Námestie sv. Michala na historickej osi medzi Hlohoveckým zámkom a Františkánskym kláštorom je najdôležitejším verejným priestorom mesta Hlohovec. Jeho prvky: kostol, kaplnka, mariánsky stĺp, sochy a pamätník predurčujú tento priestor využiť na príťažlivú a príjemnú kulisu pre stretávanie ľudí, posedávanie na terasách, organizovanie koncertov, výstav, trhov a podujatí. Pre stotožnenie sa obyvateľov so svojím mestom sú príjemné a atraktívne verejné priestory kľúčové. Návrh, ktorý prispieva k sociálnej komunikácii a vracia mesto jeho obyvateľom striedmym eliminovaním automobilovej dopravy so zdôraznením chodca ako hlavného užívateľa. Hlavná línia s ťažiskom okolo stáleho pódia slúži pre usporadúvanie koncertov, vianočné i príležitostné trhy. Trhy a akcie môžu byť rozšírené aj na plochu pred kostolom. Mikropriestory - malé pódiá, amfiteáter, fontány, terasy - môžu byť využívané aj počas komunitných trhov a kultúrnych akcií. Za dôležité pokladáme umiestnenie umeleckých skulptúr na koncoch pešej zóny, ktoré doplnením existujúcich sôch a pamätníkov pozdvihujú priestor tohto exponovaného miesta. A proposal that contributes to social communication and returns the city to its inhabitants by eliminating car traffic with an emphasis on the pedestrian as the main user. It will be possible to stop in various micro- spaces along the main line, paved with stone paving, leading from the pedestrian zone of the Municipal Office before entering the church towards the newly designed stage, leading to Podzámska Street. The line is lined with terraces of cafes, restaurants, hotels and libraries, which create a pleasant atmosphere of making life more attractive for residents and visitors. The main line with the center of gravity around the permanent stage is used for concerts, Christmas and occasional markets. Markets and events can be extended to the area in front of the church. Micro spaces - small stages, amphitheaters, fountains, terraces - can also be used during community markets and cultural events. We consider it important to place artistic sculptures at the ends of the pedestrian zone, which, in addition to the existing statues and monuments, elevate the space of this exposed place. The circular structures identify the center of the square and, in addition to the utilitarian lighting function, refer to the hoops of the barrels of the wine town.
