Naším cieľom je oživiť a začleniť dnes nevyužívané plochy TERÁS OBCHODNÉHO DOMU , sprístupniť ich pre verejnosť a aktivity ktoré sa môžu diať aj mimo otváracích hodín obchodného centra, súčasne doplniť do tohto priestoru zúfalo chýbajúce plochy zelene a túto nechať expandovať na novú fasádu bývalého hotela Kyjev. V čase klimatických zmien, keď sa javí absolútna nutnosť redukovania spevnených plôch, ktoré nedokážu zachytávať zrážkové vody, navrhujeme doplnenie zelene do tohto mestského priestoru, ako možnú pointu riešenia fasády hotela a priľahlých plôch. Zvislá nosná konštrukcia balkónov bude využitá na rozvody zavlažovania, na ktoré bude využívaná dažďová voda zachytávaná na streche hotela a strešnej terase obchodného domu. Tieniace lamely sú navrhované na fasáde ako "šperk" na tele domu. Zeleň z kochlíkov bude rásť a popínať sa po fasáde, resp. jej konštrukcii tak ako to budú určovať prírodné podmienky - so zmenou ročného obdobia sa bude meniť aj vzhľad fasády. Zeleň bude svojou vlastnou schopnosťou vytvárania lepšej klímy, produkovaním kyslíka, absorbovaním hluku a znižovaním tepelných výkyvov pozitívne vplývať život v objekte a jeho bezprostrednom okolí.

Our aim is to revitalize and integrate the unused areas of DEPARTMENT STORE`S TERRACES , make them accessible to the public and activities that can take place outside business center opening hours, while adding desperately missing green areas to this area and expand this to the new facade of the former Kiev hotel. At a time of climate change, when there seems to be an absolute need to reduce paved areas that cannot catch rainwater, we propose adding green space to this urban space as a possible point of solution for the hotel facade and adjacent areas. The vertical bearing structure of the balconies will be used for irrigation distributions, for which rainwater will be captured on the roof of the hotel and on the roof terrace of the department store. Shading slats are designed on the facade as a "jewel" on the body of the house. The greens of cooches will grow and cling to the façade, its construction as natural conditions will determine - the appearance of the façade will change as the seasons change. Greenery will have a positive impact on life in the building and its surroundings by its own ability to create a better climate, produce oxygen, absorb noise and reduce thermal fluctuations.
