Objects in the city center can not stay neutral to the life, takes place before them, especially to the spaces close to the historic center. "The New Heart of the City" Our idea was to revive and integrate today unused areas of buildings, making them available to the public and activities that can take place outside of the opening hours of the shopping center, also add to this area the deserted areas of green and leave to expand it to the new facade of the old building complex. At the time of climate change, when it seems absolutely necessary to reduce the concreted areas, which can not catch rainfall, we propose adding greenery to this city space as a possible point of solution for the facade of the hotel and adjacent areas. We have proposed the replacement of the facade as transparent structure supplemented by balconies on the facade with its own steel construction. Part of each balcony would be an area planted for planting, the greenery will also be placed in continuous potted pots, which can be distributed across the facade in different positions. The vertical load-bearing structure of the balconies would be used for irrigation lines, which will be used for rainwater captured on the roof of the hotel and the roof terrace of the department store. Shading lamellae disappear on the facade as a "jewel" on the body of the house. With this proposal, we wanted to incorporate space in the city life, they are at the center - but they are not meaningfully used.
